This One-of-a-Kind necklace is approx. 23” long.

The reversible Tibetan silver repousse pendant has a turquoise cabochon on one side and a fun little bird design on the other. Repousse is a method of embossing a sheet of metal by punching and hammering the piece on alternating sides to create volume.

The inspiration for this necklace came from the combination of the blue, silver, and bird. It reminded me of sitting by the water and watching the shimmer across the surface. I used antique silver amulets from Rajasthan India and Afghanistan, Chinese turquoise in a variety of shapes and sizes, and sterling silver to create the design.
