This One-of-a-Kind necklace is approx. 18” long and has a 3” extender.

This necklace is a feast for the eyes and features three strands of beads in a variety of textures, patterns and hues that weave your eyes all around the design. The main pendant is an antique Tibetan sacred chank shell that is set in silver and has a repousse design of a lotus flower on the back. Repousse is a method of embossing a sheet of metal by punching and hammering the piece on alternating sides to create volume.

The longest strand pairs fire etched agate beads from Afghanistan with freshwater pearls and trade beads from Africa.

The middle strand features hand carved chank, or conch shell beads, and hand carved bone mala prayer beads, all from Tibet.

The short strand features more fire etched agate beads, with different patterns, from Afghanistan, freshwater pearls, and hand cut stone beads from Africa. All the findings and hook closure are sterling silver.
