This One-of-a-Kind necklace is approx. 26” long.

The antique silver repousse pendant is from Rajasthan India and has a rich patina from age and wear. Repousse is a method of embossing a sheet of metal by punching and hammering the piece on alternating sides to create volume.

I am not sure what the Hindu deities are doing in this scene, but to me it looked like they were having a tea party, and it looked like fun. Around the pendant I alternated beautiful hand carved bone trade beads from Nigeria and coconut shell. I then added antique handmade silver beads from Mali and antique silver amulets from India.

The second row has Tibetan hand carved wood mala prayer beads, hand carved bone from Africa, and freshwater biwa pearls. I also used sterling silver beads and findings throughout the design.
